Securitymen arrest 4 people for drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Farwaniya area in possession of drugs. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they stopped a vehicle and asked the driver for his civil ID. However, he jumped out of his vehicle and ran. Securitymen chased him and eventually arrested him. They checked him to find drugs and drug paraphernalia. They discovered that he did not have any identification documents with him. Meanwhile, an Egyptian cafÈ worker was arrested in Riggae area in possession of narcotic pills. Securitymen saw him walking in a lot, stopped him for checking and discovered narcotic pills in his possession. In addition, two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in Omariya area for consuming and possessing drugs. Securitymen were patrolling the area when they noticed two individuals sitting inside a parked vehicle. They checked their civil IDs to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens. Sensing their disoriented state, securitymen checked them to find drugs and drug paraphernalia. All suspects were referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Four Egyptian expatriates were arrested for their involvement in drug dealing, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, when the Criminal Investigations Department received information about some drug dealers, a team was formed for investigations. The first suspect was arrested in a trap while he was selling drugs to an undercover agent. He then led securitymen to his three other accomplices. Securitymen seized 4,000 Tremadol pills in their possession. The suspects were referred with the confiscated drugs to the Directorate General for Drugs Control for investigations and necessary legal action against them.
