KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: A security operation overseen by Brigadier General Saleh Oqla Al-Azmi, the Acting Director General of Jahra Security, resulted in the arrest of nine drug addicts, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily said the officers have seized from the men narcotics substances, alcohol, drug paraphernalia, and substantial amounts of money suspected to be proceeds from sales.
A reliable security source mentioned that these nine individuals were captured at various checkpoints located at entrances, exits, and external roads of the region.
During the arrests, they were found to be in possession of hashish, Crystal meth, chemicals, Lyrica pills, marijuana, and imported alcohol. The detainees and the confiscated items were handed over to the General Administration for Narcotics Control.
