KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Securitymen manning the Nuwaiseeb border point have arrested one of their colleagues for helping a Saudi friend to bring into the country a car without a numbers plate because it is a blatant violation of the law, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the daily the suspect requested his colleagues to do him a favor by allowing the Saudi to bring in the car which he promised would be taken back to Saudi Arabia.
When his request was turned down, he brought in the car from another point by driving in the opposite direction and left it four kilometers away.
The suspect then waited for the owner of the car and returned to duty with someone else. However, when the incident was reported to the senior official he was arrested and now faces dismissal from work and even imprisonment.
