KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: The Public Authority for Manpower has recorded 64 violations of the midday work ban, which prohibits laborers from working under direct sunlight between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until the end of August.
The authority reported that since the ban took effect in June, 61 companies were found in breach of the regulation, including 31 firms in July alone. Over the past two months, inspectors visited 102 worksites, while 26 complaints were received through the hotline.
The authority further clarified that during follow-up inspections, companies previously warned about violations were found to comply, and no repeat offenses were recorded.
