KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Yesterday marked a significant environmental initiative as the Scientific Center of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, in collaboration with the Environment Public Authority, orchestrated the release of a variety of rehabilitated birds of prey into the Jahra Reserve. The primary objective of this initiative is to restore the delicate environmental equilibrium and safeguard biodiversity within the country.
Musaed Al-Yassin, the general director of the center, expressed to KUNA the importance of this endeavor. The released birds include the majestic marching eagle, the resilient desert eagle, and the enigmatic Pharaonic eagle owl, among others. These creatures, having undergone a period of rehabilitation at the center, are now reintroduced into their natural habitat, marking a crucial step in environmental conservation.
