Schools to house deportees
A number of schools in all governorates have been selected to house a large number of expatriates – expatriates who are caught for violating the residence and labor laws and those who do not abide by decisions recently issued by the Council of Ministers, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily quoting reliable sources stated this is done in close coordination between several government institutions following a decision to organize campaigns to arrest the violators and take the necessary measures against them including deportation, especially since it is common knowledge that there are about 100,000 residence violators in the country.

The sources added those arrested will be directly deported administratively without detaining them at police stations as was previously before. The sources added, for this purpose the Ministry of Interior has formed a committee comprising Cabinet members and said those arrested will be fingerprinted and driven straight to the airport for deportation.
