School student’s death probed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4:The Ministry of Education said it is following up the investigations into the death of a student who was run over in the Al-Salam area Sunday morning, reports Al-Rai daily.

A statement issued by the ministry said Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Azmi and entire educational fraternity mourns the death of student 6-year-old Yaqoub Ahmed Al-Jefini of Shaikhan Al-Farsi Elementary Boys School in Salam in the Hawally Educational Zone. He was allegedly hit by a car while crossing the road.
