Scattered Showers and Mild Temperatures Expected in Kuwait Through the Weekend

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 12: The Meteorological Department has forecast that cumulus clouds will continue to increase over Kuwait, with scattered thunderstorms possible at times across the country. According to acting director Dharar Al-Ali, the weather at the end of the week will be mild to warm, partly cloudy to cloudy during the day, and cool at night, with a chance of fog forming in some areas.

Al-Ali explained that the country is currently influenced by a receding high-pressure system, allowing a low-pressure system with humid air to move in, accompanied by light to moderate southeasterly winds, occasionally becoming stronger and causing higher sea waves.

For Thursday, temperatures are expected to range from 22–24°C during the day and 11–13°C at night. Winds will be light to moderate at 8–40 km/h, sometimes gusty, with scattered rain, occasionally thundery, and a chance of fog in the evening. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves of 2–6 feet.

On Friday, the weather will be warm, with clouds and rain chances gradually decreasing. Maximum temperatures are expected between 23–25°C, and winds will shift to variable and southeasterly at 8–35 km/h, with possible evening fog. Sea conditions will remain light to moderate, with waves 1–5 feet.

Saturday will see warm conditions, increasing cloud cover, and a chance of scattered rain later in the day. Winds will be southeasterly to variable, 8–32 km/h, with maximum temperatures of 26–28°C. The sea state will be slight to moderate, with waves 1–3 feet, while nighttime temperatures will drop to 12–14°C, with some fog in isolated areas.
