Kuwait's weather outlook: Scattered rain and thunderstorms are forecasted.

KUWAIT CITY, May 14: The Meteorological Department has forecasted the possibility of scattered rain, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, starting from noon tomorrow, Wednesday, until Thursday evening. According to Director Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Tuesday, the rain is expected to coincide with active northerly to northeasterly winds, leading to dusty conditions and reduced horizontal visibility in some exposed areas. Additionally, rising sea waves are anticipated.

Al-Qarawi explained that Kuwait is under the influence of a surface depression extension, coupled with a humid air mass, coinciding with a weak upper-level atmospheric depression. These conditions are likely to result in the proliferation of low and medium clouds, interspersed with cumulus clouds.

The depression is expected to diminish late Thursday evening, allowing for the advancement of an extension of the air high. Consequently, weather conditions are expected to stabilize, with clouds and chances of rain gradually diminishing. Overall, the weather is forecasted to be hot during the day and moderate at night.
