KUWAIT CITY, May 26: The National Cybersecurity Center has warned travelers against falling victim to fake travel websites and attractive offers that may be used for online fraud. The center urged travelers to plan their trips safely and ensure that bookings are made only through official and trusted platforms. In an awareness post on its X account, the center explained that scammers exploit people’s desire to travel during holiday seasons by promoting attractive flight deals that are often designed to defraud users and direct them to unreliable websites. The center emphasized the importance of avoiding interaction with suspicious links to protect personal data.
