RIYADH, Apr 12: The Saudi Ministry of Energy announced that key energy facilities impacted by recent attacks have largely recovered, with operations restored and supply reliability strengthened.
In a statement issued on April 12, the ministry confirmed that the East-West Pipeline in Saudi Arabia has returned to full pumping capacity of approximately 7 million barrels per day, following earlier disruptions that had cut around 700,000 barrels per day.
Production at the Manifa oil field has also been fully restored, recovering about 300,000 barrels per day that were lost due to the attacks.
However, the ministry noted that restoration work is still ongoing at the Khurais oil field, where output had also declined by roughly 300,000 barrels per day. Full recovery at the site will be announced once completed.
The ministry credited the rapid rebound to the operational resilience and crisis management capabilities of Saudi Aramco, emphasizing that the swift response has helped stabilize energy supplies to both domestic and global markets.
Officials added that the recovery underscores the Kingdom’s ability to maintain continuity in energy exports, reinforcing confidence in global oil supply chains and supporting broader economic stability.
