RIYADH, Oct 21: The Saudi-led coalition said early Wednesday that it had intercepted and destroyed four drones launched toward Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said in a statement posted on the US social media platform X that the drones were intercepted and destroyed over the regions of Madinah and the Eastern Province.
In a separate statement, Al-Maliki said coalition forces had intercepted and destroyed another drone heading toward the Eastern Province.
The statements did not provide further details about the drones’ launch locations or whether the incidents caused any damage or casualties.
