KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Saudi Gulf Handball Club secured the Asian Club Champions League title by defeating its Qatari counterpart with a score of 35-33 in the 26th edition's final hosted by the country. Additionally, Al-Qadisiyah claimed third place by surpassing Kuwait with a score of 31-30. In the event of the Saudi Al-Khaleej Club winning the title, it will secure direct qualification for the Club World Cup as Asia's representative.

The final match was marked by intense excitement as both teams engaged in aggressive attacks, leading to a 27-27 draw in regular time. The deadlock persisted into extra time, with Al-Khaleej ultimately deciding the outcome in the fourth half with a final score of 35-33.

In the battle for third place, Al-Qadisiyah secured victory over its Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of 31-30, earning the bronze medal in the tournament. Hosted by Al-Qadisiyah Club at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Hall Complex, the tournament featured the participation of 11 clubs after the withdrawal of the Palestinian Al-Salah Club. The competing clubs included Al-Qadisiyah, Kuwait, the Saudi and Arab Gulf, Qatari Al-Gharafa, Bahraini Najma, Indian Sai and Golden Eagle, Iraqi Army, Lebanese Sidon Youth, and Emirati club Al-Sharjah.
