LONDON, Sep 5: Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in the United Kingdom has called for a swift investigation after a Saudi citizen was stabbed in London’s Mayfair district.

The embassy said Friday that it was closely monitoring the victim’s condition and coordinating with the relevant British authorities to ensure he received the necessary medical care and support.

In a post on X, the embassy said it would continue following the Saudi citizen’s health until he is safely discharged from hospital.

The embassy also called for the circumstances surrounding the incident to be fully investigated, all details to be uncovered and the perpetrator held accountable in accordance with the law.

It stressed the importance of strengthening measures to protect citizens and visitors in public areas.

The embassy further urged Saudi citizens in the UK to exercise caution and remain vigilant, particularly by avoiding carrying valuable belongings in public places.
