Saudi Crown Prince receives Kuwait PM

JEDDAH, Sept 13: Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of sisterly Saudi Arabia, received His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his entourage at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday. During the meeting, His Highness the Prime Minister handed the Crown Prince a letter from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz on the bilateral ties.

The Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Mohammad bin Salman during his meeting with Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Salam Palace in Jeddah, Tuesday, Sept 13.

His Highness the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Saudi King and Crown Prince, expressing the best wishes for the leaders and people of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He expressed joy for his current official visit to the Kingdom, noting that it is a link in a chain of the historical deep-rooted exemplary relationship between both countries in all areas. His Highness the Prime Minister praised the balanced policy of the Kingdom under the wise leadership of the King and Crown Prince in protecting the security and stability in the region.

The meeting gathered, from the Saudi side, Minister of State Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahad Al Saud, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad Al Saud, and from the Kuwaiti side, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Ali Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah and Chief of Staff of Prime Minister’s Office Hamad Bader Al-Amer. His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait and his entourage left Jeddah on Tuesday after an official visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He expressed, in a statement ahead of his departure, gratitude to the Saudi leaders for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to him and his entourage.

His Highness the Prime Minister and his entourage were seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Saudi Minister of State Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahad Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Bader bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad Al Saud, and Kuwait Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Ali Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Consul General in Jeddah Mohammad Saud Al- Mutairi as well as other diplomatic staff.
