Saudi Crown Prince honors HH Amir of Kuwait with King Abdulaziz Medal

RIYADH, Jan 30, (KUNA): On behalf of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud awarded the King Abdulaziz Medal to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a gesture of recognition and appreciation. His Highness, along with an official delegation, visited Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al- Saud at Arqa Palace on Tuesday, with the presence of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. Saudi King Salman extended a warm welcome to His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation.

The visit focused on highlighting the longstanding ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Concurrently, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud hosted a banquet in honor of His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation. Leading the Kuwaiti side, His Highness the Amir engaged in official talks at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud, who also serves as the Prime Minister and head of the Saudi delegation.

The discussions encompassed various issues, including strengthening the existing partnership, fostering cooperation to support Gulf Cooperation Council member countries, and addressing common interests. Both leaders exchanged perspectives on regional and international challenges and shared insights into ongoing developments and collaborative efforts. Following the state visit, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the official delegation departed from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. HH the Amir was seen off by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud and several senior state officials.
