RIYADH, May 5: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has condemned Iran’s attacks on the United Arab Emirates during a phone call with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Saudi state media.
During the call, bin Salman described the strikes as “unjustified Iranian attacks targeting the sisterly United Arab Emirates” and reaffirmed Riyadh’s full support for Abu Dhabi. He also stressed Saudi Arabia’s backing for the UAE in defending its security and stability amid escalating regional tensions.
The conversation highlights growing Gulf alignment against Iran following recent missile and drone incidents targeting the UAE.
