RIYADH, Jul 13: The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said on Monday that it intercepted ballistic missiles launched by Yemen's Houthi movement toward southern Saudi Arabia.
In a brief statement, the coalition said its air defense systems successfully countered the incoming missiles before they reached their targets. It did not specify the number of missiles intercepted or identify the intended locations.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, and the Houthis had not commented on the coalition's statement at the time of publication.
