RIYADH, Jun 28: A helicopter belonging to Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura on Sunday, killing all 14 people on board, Saudi Arabia’s state news agency reported.

An official source at the Ministry of Energy said the accident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. local time when the Aramco-operated helicopter went down in Ras Tanura.

All 14 passengers aboard the aircraft were killed, and authorities confirmed that all victims were Saudi citizens.

The cause of the crash remains unknown, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
