Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar Condemn Missile and Drone Attacks on Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the State of Qatar have strongly condemned the reported missile and drone attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, expressing full solidarity with Kuwait and rejecting any violation of its sovereignty.

In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia described the attacks as a hostile act and strongly denounced what it called attempts to threaten regional security and stability. Riyadh reiterated its categorical rejection of any violation of state sovereignty and affirmed full support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security and territorial integrity.

Similarly, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks, describing them as “terrorist attacks” involving missiles and drones. It said the incidents constitute a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and pose a serious threat to its stability and security. The UAE also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and support for any actions taken to protect its national security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also issued a statement condemning the targeting of Kuwait, calling it a clear violation of sovereignty and international law. Doha stressed its rejection of such actions and expressed support for Kuwait in safeguarding its territorial integrity.

The coordinated regional response underscores growing concern among Gulf states over escalating security tensions and repeated missile and drone incidents in the region, as diplomatic efforts continue to contain the situation and prevent further escalation.
