RIYADH, Mar 10: Air defense forces in Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed two drones in the Eastern Region, according to security sources. Earlier, two additional drones were also intercepted east of Al-Kharj Governorate, while a ballistic missile launched toward the Eastern Region was successfully shot down before reaching its target.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense also confirmed that another drone struck a residential area in Al-Zulfi Governorate, causing minor property damage but no injuries.
Authorities said the interceptions were carried out as part of ongoing efforts to protect the Kingdom’s airspace and ensure public safety.
