Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE Condemn Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain, Reaffirm Gulf Solidarity

RIYADH / MUSCAT / ABU DHABI, Jun 3: Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates have strongly condemned the recent attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing full solidarity with the two Gulf nations and reaffirming support for measures to protect their security and sovereignty.

Saudi Arabia denounced what it described as a “flagrant Iranian aggression” against Bahrain and Kuwait, saying the attacks violate the sovereignty of both countries and constitute a clear breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry warned that such actions undermine international efforts to restore security and stability in the region. It reiterated the Kingdom’s full support for Bahrain and Kuwait, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.

Oman also condemned the attacks, stressing its categorical rejection of military actions that threaten regional security and stability, particularly those targeting civilian and vital facilities. The Sultanate said the attacks violate international law and endanger civilian lives, while expressing full support for the measures being taken by Kuwait and Bahrain to safeguard their sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned what it described as Iran’s terrorist drone and missile attacks on Kuwait, which resulted in one death, multiple injuries and damage to critical infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport and diplomatic missions. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks were a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and international law, adding that targeting diplomatic premises constituted a dangerous escalation and a breach of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The UAE reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and support for all efforts to preserve the country’s security and stability.

The coordinated statements underscore growing Gulf support for Kuwait and Bahrain amid heightened regional tensions and concerns over attacks on civilian infrastructure and diplomatic facilities.
