Saudi Arabia Intercepts Multiple Drones in Eastern Region

RIYADH, Mar 25: Saudi air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple drones over the Eastern Region early Wednesday, authorities confirmed.

According to official reports, a total of 27 drones were intercepted between 3:50 AM and 6:55 AM local time. The timeline of interceptions as per Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense is as follows:

3:50 AM: 3 drones destroyed

4:30 AM: 3 drones destroyed

4:50 AM: 4 drones destroyed

5:28 AM: 5 drones destroyed

5:40 AM: 3 drones destroyed

5:50 AM: 1 drone destroyed

6:20 AM: 1 drone destroyed

6:55 AM: 1 drone destroyed

Authorities emphasized that the interceptions were successful and there were no reports of damage or casualties. The incidents come amid heightened regional tensions, prompting the kingdom to maintain heightened vigilance over its airspace.
