Saudi Arabia Intercepts 9 Iranian Drones and 2 Cruise Missiles Entering Its Airspace

RIYADH, Mar 4: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the successful interception and destruction of nine drones and two cruise missiles immediately after they entered Saudi airspace, according to an official statement.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), citing a statement from the Council of Ministers, reported that the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory, citizens, and residents.

The announcement follows an Iranian attack on the US embassy in Riyadh on Tuesday, amid a series of ongoing missile and drone strikes by Tehran targeting countries across the region.
