The final wave came at 6:30 a.m., when five additional drones were intercepted over Riyadh and the eastern region.
The interceptions underscore heightened alert levels as defense forces continue to respond to repeated aerial threats targeting critical infrastructure and populated areas across the Kingdom.
Also, four Asian expatriates sustained injuries after debris from the interception of a ballistic missile fell on a residential area in Riyadh, the Saudi Civil Defense confirmed.
The incident also caused limited material damage in the affected area, authorities said.
