RIYADH, Mar 4: Saudi Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that an attempted drone attack targeted the Ras Tanura refinery, with initial assessments indicating that no damage was reported.
The statement was issued by the ministry’s official spokesperson, Major General Turki al-Maliki.
The incident marks the fourth such event reported today. Earlier, the ministry said it had intercepted and thwarted nine drones upon entering Saudi airspace, in addition to intercepting and destroying two cruise missiles in the Al-Kharj region and another drone in the Eastern Province.
