RIYADH, Jun 27: Saudi Arabia on Saturday strongly condemned an Iranian drone attack targeting Bahraini territory, describing it as a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced “in the strongest terms” the attacks carried out by Iran using several drones early Saturday morning, saying they threatened regional security and stability.
The Kingdom warned that such actions undermine ongoing efforts to restore calm in the region and reaffirmed its full support for any measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
