RIYADH, Jun 1: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned what it described as repeated Iranian attacks on Kuwait, expressing full solidarity with the Gulf state and reaffirming its support for measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
In a statement issued on Monday, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the alleged attacks as a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, saying they infringe upon Kuwait’s sovereignty and undermine efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
The Kingdom reiterated its categorical rejection of such actions and voiced support for Kuwait’s government and people. It also affirmed its backing for all measures Kuwait may take to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability.
