RIYADH, March 15: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that its air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed four drones targeting the Riyadh region.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said this incident brings the total number of drones aimed at the Kingdom since the start of Iranian attacks to 318. In addition, 37 missiles—including 30 ballistic and seven cruise missiles—have been intercepted.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the Kingdom and maintaining the safety and security of its citizens.
