RIYADH, March 30: Air defense systems in Saudi Arabia successfully intercepted multiple incoming threats targeting the Kingdom’s eastern region, according to the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense.

Authorities confirmed that five ballistic missiles were detected and destroyed before reaching their intended targets. Earlier, a cruise missile heading toward the same area was also identified and neutralized.

The statement did not provide details on casualties or damage, indicating that the interceptions were carried out effectively as part of ongoing defensive operations amid heightened regional tensions.
