Saudi Air Defenses are currently intercepting drones in the Eastern Region

RIYADH, March 26: Air defense systems in Saudi Arabia successfully intercepted and destroyed three drones in the Eastern Region at around 6:30 a.m., according to initial reports.

Authorities confirmed that an additional three drones had been intercepted earlier in the same region, bringing the total number of neutralized aerial threats to six.

The interceptions come amid heightened regional tensions, with defense forces on high alert to counter potential threats. No casualties or damage have been reported so far.

Officials have not disclosed further details about the origin of the drones, but emphasized that security forces remain fully prepared to respond to any escalation and ensure the safety of critical infrastructure and residents.
