NEW YORK, Jul 10: Iran may be repairing or rebuilding facilities at several nuclear and missile sites damaged during recent US-Israeli strikes, CNN reported on Friday, citing satellite imagery analyzed by Vantor.
According to the report, reconstruction work was observed at the Taleghan 2 facility inside the Parchin military complex southeast of Tehran, where experts believe explosive materials related to nuclear weapons development are stored. Satellite images taken on June 22 and July 7 reportedly showed repair work around several impact craters caused by the strikes.
Separate satellite imagery dated June 21 also showed vehicles entering and leaving tunnels at Pickaxe Mountain, a suspected underground nuclear facility near Isfahan, while a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran was still in effect, the report said.
