KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: In a thrilling match from the fifth round of the Zain Premier League, Al-Salmiya clinched a 2-1 victory over Al-Jahra after extra time at Thamer Stadium.
Al-Jahra took the lead when Abdullah Al-Najdi scored in the 74th minute. However, Al-Samawi fought back with player Alex Lima, who netted a penalty kick in the 79th minute and sealed the victory with another goal in the 100th minute.

With this win, Salmiya now have six points and occupy the sixth spot on the league table, while Al-Jahra remain at the bottom with just one point.
In another unexpected turn of events, Al-Shabab managed to surprise Kazma with a 2-1 victory, securing their first win of the season.

Al-Shabab now boast five points, while Kazma maintain their position with seven points in the league standings.
