KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Al-Salmiya Club qualified for the quarter-finals of Amir Cup, after defeating Al Shabab 1-0. The only goal for Salmiya was scored by Aso Rustom in the 79th minute via a penalty kick, after taking advantage in the 70th minute when Omar Wade was shown a red card and sent off.
Al-Salmiya will meet Kuwait SC in the quarter-final on Friday.
