KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: In the opening matches of the sixth round of the Zain Football League, Al-Salmiya Club secured a 2-1 victory against Al-Shabab.

Al-Salmiya made a strong start to the game, with Brazil's Seba netting the first goal in the 11th minute. Just two minutes later, Fawaz Al-Otaibi added the second goal. Al-Shabab managed to find the net with Rivas in the 82nd minute.

As a result of this win, Al-Salmiya temporarily climbed to nine points, securing fourth place in the league standings. Meanwhile, Al-Shabab remained at five points, currently holding the eighth position.

The sixth round of matches will continue tomorrow, on Saturday, featuring two exciting games: Al-Jahra will face Al-Arabi, and Al-Fahaheel will take on Al-Nasr. The round will conclude the day after tomorrow, on Sunday, with the highly anticipated match between Al-Qadisiyah and Kuwait.
