Salmiya Blocks 11 and 12 Now Restricted Amid Bachelor Housing Concerns

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: The Hawally Governorate Municipality branch has taken decisive action to address a pressing issue in the Salmiya area. In response to numerous complaints regarding the improper use of blocks 11 and 12, which were being converted into housing for bachelor renters, the team has implemented stringent measures.

Recent efforts by the committee have involved the complete cordoning off of these blocks, with the assistance of security personnel. This measure aims to prevent any potential conflicts between inspectors and the bachelor tenants. The team has also been closely monitoring properties occupied by bachelors that are in violation of building regulations. These violations include unauthorized construction expansions and the creation of additional small rooms through the installation of “partitions” and divisions, each with an area not exceeding two square meters.
