Salem Mufarreh takes charge of the Salmiya U-15 handball team

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Salmiya Club has appointed Kuwaiti coach Salem Mufarreh as head coach of their U-15 handball team for the 2026-27 season, reaffirming the club’s commitment to developing its youth ranks and building a strong pipeline of future players.

Handball director Mubarak Najm signed the agreement on behalf of Salmiya, with Mufarreh taking charge ahead of the new campaign. The club hopes the young coach can build a competitive side capable of challenging for honors across the season.

Mufarreh, one of Kuwait’s emerging youth coaches, will focus on developing the players’ technical and physical skills while creating a disciplined and cohesive squad capable of competing at a high level.

The coach said he was confident in the potential of the players and stressed the importance of hard work and cooperation among the coaching staff, players, and club administration during the preparation period.

Mufarreh thanked Salmiya’s management and handball department for their confidence and pledged to work tirelessly to develop the squad, improve the players’ abilities, and guide the team toward strong performances and podium finishes in the upcoming competitions.
