Sale of water guns, and foam cans banned in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: As part of the festivities on Arabian Gulf Street, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has enacted a regulatory measure, prohibiting the sale of water guns, small water-filled balloons, and foam cans throughout the national holiday season. Effective from February 20th of the current year until March 31st of the following year, this decision aims to safeguard public welfare.

Water guns ready as national holidays approach

The restricted items include:
Water guns of all types
Small water-filled balloons
Foam cans
Hazardous materials such as fireworks, pyrotechnic air balloons, bladed weapons, firearms, replica pistols, and self-defense tools (including swords, daggers, spears, and dart pins )
Equipment with pointed or sharpened ends affixed to sticks
Sharp pointed-tipped sticks
Electric or non-medical shock devices
Double-edged or partially-edged knives
Hunting knives
Knuckleduster
Laser, radiation, and radioactive apparatuses.
