Salah scores again as Trabzonspor falls to Amed

ISTANBUL, Sept 1: Mohamed Salah continued his impressive scoring run for Trabzonspor in the Turkish league, but his latest goal could not prevent his side from suffering a shock 2-1 defeat to Amed.

The Egyptian forward gave Trabzonspor an early lead in the 11th minute, following his brace in the previous league game against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Trabzonspor appeared on course for victory before Yira Collins Sarr leveled the score in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time.

Amed completed the comeback in the 90th minute when Gift Orban found the net to secure all three points for the home side.

Salah moved to Trabzonspor during the current summer transfer window after ending his time with English giants Liverpool.
