KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The horse Sahab, representing Shafi Al-Otaibi Stable under trainer Saleh Al-Otaibi and jockey Salem Al-Ajmi, captured the Alaa Hamad Al-Roumi Cup for Egyptian-bred novice horses over a 1,200-meter distance, clocking 1:40.49 minutes. The trophy was presented to Shafi Al-Otaibi Stable by Sheikh Dhari Al-Fahad, Chairman of the Hunting and Equestrian Club, along with Sheikh Sabah Al-Nasser, Chairman of the Supreme Committee and Secretary-General, and Alaa Hamad Al-Roumi, owner of Al-Rayah Stud.

Meanwhile, Zahi, owned by Al-Hathleen Stable, claimed the Cup of the late Sheikh Nasser Fahad Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah (may he rest in peace) for novice horses over 1,400 meters, finishing in 1:34.91 minutes.

In other races, Reef, Mououd, Thayer Al-Khaffaq, Sour Al-Janoub, and Shafqan took top honors in the first through fifth rounds, respectively.
