KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: The Jahra Municipality put the safety systems in buildings under the microscope, registering 507 alerts about them in the governorate’s areas within three weeks, as part of inspection campaigns to verify licenses and advertisement hoardings.

Director of the Safety Department in Jahra Governorate, Hamoud Al-Mutairi, told Kuwait News Agency that the municipality teams are continuing their daily inspection tours in all areas of Kuwait with the aim of implementing municipal laws and regulations.

Al-Mutairi added that the field team in Jahra Governorate, during its tour of the governorate’s areas, focused on educating employees in commercial shops about the importance of adhering to municipal laws by ensuring that their license is valid and that the commercial advertisements are compatible.

He stressed the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations in force in the municipality to avoid violations and a fine that could lead to administrative closure.

He stated that the team continues to punish commercial stores that do not adhere to the controls and requirements of the regulations of stores and advertisements regarding health licenses and the store’s advertising license.
