KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: Mohammed Al-Khshman Al-Ajmi, Chairman of the Sabah Al-Ahmad City Cooperative Society, announced the launch of the fifth edition of the Ramadan Football Tournament for both seniors and youth, set to begin on the 3rd of Ramadan at the Sabah Al-Ahmad area stadium, featuring participation from numerous teams.

Al-Ajmi extended his greetings to the nation and the leadership on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and thanked the society’s shareholders and residents for their dedication in ensuring the tournament’s success. He noted that this year’s edition promises highly competitive matches, building on last year’s success, which was recognized as one of the best-organized and most rewarding tournaments in Kuwait.

He added that the tournament aims to bring joy to both adults and youth in the community, fostering a friendly yet competitive Ramadan atmosphere. Al-Ajmi also praised the cooperative society's members for their ongoing efforts to develop the society, meet residents' needs, and serve shareholders.

Valuable cash prizes have been set for the top two teams in both categories. Each player on the first-place teams will receive 200 Kuwaiti Dinars, while players on the second-place teams will receive 150 Kuwaiti Dinars each.
