MOSCOW, Oct 29: Russia Saturday declared that it suspended its participation in the grain deal, in response to the targeting of its ships in the Black Sea by Ukraine’s drones. The Ukrainian forces directed an air and navy intensive strike to the Black Sea Fleet’s Ships in Sevastopol Port, Russia’s defense ministry said in a statement.

The forces used this humanitarian corridor related to transferring Ukraine’s grain to attack the Russian ships, it added. Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations signed, in Istanbul last June, an agreement that guarantees transporting Ukrainian grain from ports on the Black Sea. The four signatories to the deal agree to form a center in Istanbul to follow the process of the Ukrainian grain transportation.
