TEHRAN, Jul 10: Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom has started sending employees back to Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant after evacuating staff during the recent US-Israeli conflict, according to Russian state media.

Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev said the first six employees have begun returning to the facility, where the company is constructing two additional reactor units, RIA Novosti reported.

Rosatom had withdrawn hundreds of personnel after the US-Israeli war on Iran began on February 28 due to security concerns.

Meanwhile, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi said the agency is closely monitoring the situation at the Bushehr plant and called on all parties to exercise restraint, according to Russia's Interfax news agency.
