Royal sent to jail for humiliating traffic department Lt. Colonel

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 16: The Public Prosecution has referred Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah to Central Jail to be detained for 21 days in the case of humiliating Head of Department of Vehicles Licenses in Capital Traffic Department Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Al-Rashid, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

After the audio clip of the incident went viral on social media, the Public Prosecution had referred Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem to the General Department of Criminal Evidences to take a voice sample, as he had denied that the voice in the audio clip belonged to him.

The audio clip was of a conversation between Lieutenant Colonel Al-Rashid and an individual who introduced himself as “Sheikh Abdullah Salem Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah”. He then asked Lieutenant Colonel Al-Rashid the reason behind his refusal to complete the transactions of his cars. He asked him why he dismissed the employee that he had sent to complete the transactions from his office.
