KUWAIT CITY, May 20: The Public Prosecution has remanded a Kuwaiti citizen, a member of the ruling family, along with his Asian accomplices, to police custody for 21 days pending investigation in a case involving the cultivation of marijuana and possession of other narcotic substances, reports Al-Jarida daily. They have been referred to the central prison following their arrest by the General Administration for Combating Narcotics last week. During the operation, large quantities of marijuana seedlings, pots, and seeds were seized from two homes owned by the accused. The investigation into this matter will continue under the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecution.
