Rotten Food Exposed Yet Again in Capital - 144.260 Kilos Destroyed

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 13: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition, as part of its ongoing inspection campaigns to protect consumer health and safety, detected several food-related violations in the Capital Governorate.

The Capital Governorate Inspection Department destroyed 144.260 kilograms of food materials deemed unfit for human consumption.

The violations included the display and sale of spoiled food products, failure to comply with general hygiene requirements and workplace health conditions, and operating a food establishment after the expiration of its health licence.

The authority continues to monitor food establishments and take action against violations to ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
