Road Rage in Abu Halifa Escalates to Stabbing With Pen

KUWAIT CITY: A traffic dispute at an entrance to Abu Halifa along the Fahaheel Expressway escalated into a physical altercation after one driver allegedly attempted to stab another with a pen, according to a security source.

The incident reportedly began when one driver claimed that another vehicle suddenly pulled out in front of him, nearly causing a collision. Both drivers stopped following the incident.

According to the source, the driver of the other vehicle allegedly hurled verbal abuse at the complainant, used profanities and deliberately struck his car door before getting out of his vehicle.

The suspect then approached the complainant and reached through the car window, allegedly attempting to stab him with a pen he was carrying.

The complainant managed to grab the assailant’s hand and avoid being stabbed.

A case was registered in connection with the incident, and the necessary legal procedures are being taken.
