KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: A traffic disagreement in Mubarak Al-Tanib escalated into a violent confrontation between two Kuwaiti citizens, involving a fistfight, verbal abuse, and deliberate ramming of a vehicle.
According to a security source, one of the individuals filed a complaint against the other, a physical education teacher, accusing him of assault, verbal harassment, and intentionally colliding with his car. The complainant stated that the dispute began as a routine traffic disagreement, during which the accused approached him, struck him with a punch, and verbally insulted him, reportedly saying, “You’re not a real man, you’re not well-mannered.” The exchange quickly escalated into a physical fight between the two men.
The source added that the accused claimed the complainant had suddenly stopped his car in the middle of the road, which sparked the verbal confrontation. He further stated that his actions in striking the complainant were in self-defense.
Police investigations, conducted under a case registered as “exchange of blows and collision,” included questioning both parties, visiting the scene, and obtaining testimony from a witness. The investigation confirmed that the altercation involved both verbal abuse and physical attacks, culminating in the accused deliberately ramming the complainant’s vehicle following the exchange of blows.
The case has now been referred to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
