Riyadh Road to close from Third to Fourth Ring Road from Friday

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: The Ministry of Public Works, in cooperation with the General Traffic Department, announced the complete closure of Riyadh Road (Road 50) from the intersection with the Third Ring Road to the intersection with the Fourth Ring Road and King Faisal Road in the direction of Kuwait International Airport.

The closure will also include part of the traffic signal and roundabout for vehicles coming from the airport, as well as the entrance and exit to the Al-Khaldiya area.

The closures will begin at dawn on Friday, September 25, 2026, and continue until dawn on Sunday, September 27, 2026, to allow for asphalt paving works for the final road surface layer.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic instructions during the closure period.
